Morph Design has created a special concept in the former Ooglijdersgasthuis on the Wijde Begijnestraat in the heart of Utrecht. This 17^th century town house where the celebrated F.C. Donders ran an ophthalmic clinic for many years, now, one hundred years later, accommodates the EYE Hotel. With heart and soul and an eye for detail, Morph Design developed the interior concept for the hotel based on the historic building’s unique history. Not only the name of the hotel is a reference to building’s past; plenty of nods to that past have also been included in the interior. The 36 special hotel rooms – from family rooms to suites – offer something for everyone. Modern furnishings with a warm Scandinavian feel … and the leading sleeping comfort of Morpheus, of course!
